Hooves & Heart: A Client’s Journey with Nico, Paloma & Troya at Monte Barrão

More than two years ago, in May, I visited the stud farm together with a friend. We originally came to look at one specific mare — but what we experienced there was so much more.

From the very first moment, it was clear how respectfully and thoughtfully the horses were handled. They were well trained, deeply connected to people, and living on beautiful pastures. We were able to see the newborn foals, and the entire atmosphere was calm, professional, and full of care.

I fell in love with one mare at first sight. Then, as we walked past another paddock, a gelding captured my heart as well. Because I was so impressed with the mare, I also asked to see her full sister — who was only three weeks old at the time. She was absolutely wonderful. The quality of the horses, their temperament, and the exceptional management convinced me completely — and I decided to bring her home as well.

The entire process was seamless. The horses were lovingly prepared for transport, everything was carefully coordinated with the transport company, and I didn’t have to worry about a thing. Loading was calm and professional, and the transfer of papers went smoothly. Everything worked perfectly from beginning to end.

I was — and still am — extremely happy with my decision. I would buy a horse there again at any time!
