Sacha AMB
About
Sacha AMB is a 4-year-old Lusitano mare, standing approximately 1.61 m. She was bred and raised at Monte Barrão in a natural herd environment and was given time to mature before starting her training.
Sacha has now been in work for several months and is regularly ridden. She is a very sweet and calm mare, easy to handle and pleasant to ride.
She is still a young horse and is not highly trained, but she has a good basic education and is progressing well in her work.
Talent & Character
Sacha is a kind and uncomplicated mare. She enjoys being around people and is easy to handle in her daily routine. She is calm without being dull and has a nice balance between sensitivity and confidence.
Under saddle, Sacha is progressing correctly through the basics. She shows willingness, good balance for her training, and a positive attitude towards learning.
She has the elegance and expressive movement typical of the Lusitano, combined with a calm and pleasant temperament. She is particularly suited to someone looking for a horse to enjoy both under saddle and outside the arena, with the potential to continue developing her dressage work.
Work & Progress
Sacha started her ridden work around fIve months ago and has continued to progress steadily since then.
Her training currently focuses on the basic dressage work: rhythm, transitions, circles, changes of direction, and developing a consistent contact and response to the aids. She is learning to become more balanced and supple as her strength develops.
She is still green, as would be expected with her relatively short time in work, but she is straightforward to ride and has a good attitude towards her training.
Sacha would suit someone looking for a sweet, calm young Lusitano to enjoy hacking and basic dressage with, while continuing to develop her training over time. She already has a good foundation, but there is still plenty of room for her to grow into her work.
