Quartzo is a striking 6-year-old Lusitano stallion standing 1.67 m, bred from outstanding bloodlines including Hostil, Soberano, Raja, and Zamorim.
Born and raised in the expansive pastures of Alter do Chão, Portugal, he was allowed to grow up in a natural herd setting among other young horses. This foundation fostered correct physical development, mental strength, and the harmonious temperament so valued in the Lusitano breed.
Quartzo combines rideability, quality, and exceptional trainability, making him an exciting young prospect for dressage riders seeking both steady progress and genuine enjoyment in their daily training.
Talent & Character
He is a sweet and talented Lusitano with a very good mind and correct, expressive basic gaits. His walk is particularly outstanding, showing consistent overtracking, freedom in the shoulder, elasticity, and natural forward movement. In all three paces, Quartzo demonstrates flexibility, suspension, and balance.
Work & Progress
Under saddle, he is well-balanced, pleasant, easy, and comfortable to ride. He performs lateral movements and flying changes with confidence and understanding. He has also started collection work, including piaffe and passage, showing talent and willingness for further development.
